2.2.4 Veilig te installeren
On Android 5.0 and higher, you can access the external SD card by following these steps:
- Go to the app settings
- Click on "mount folder"
- Select "custom"
- In the next screen, choose the external SD card
To convert your Android phone/tablet into an FTP Server, you can use this free app. It allows you to host your own FTP Server on your device, enabling you to transfer files, photos, movies, songs, etc. to/from your Android device using a FTP client like FileZilla.

- Connect to a WiFi network and open the app
- Click on the start button
- In a FTP client or Windows Explorer, enter the server URL to transfer files

Please note that SFTP support will be added soon. If you have any feedback or encounter any bugs, please email them to our support email address. Also, keep in mind that FTPS and SFTP are not the same, and this app does not support SFTP.
For security purposes, the port number should be greater than 1024 as binding to ports like 21 may not be possible on non-rooted phones. The default port number is set to 2221 but can be changed from the settings screen. Anonymous access is disabled by default but can be enabled from the settings screen.
If you don't have a FTP client, you can download FileZilla from here. Additionally, you can access the FTP server from the Windows File Explorer.
